Meaning - Have you considered what a “Graceful Exit” means for you and your family legacy, including plans for an untimely death or early dementia?
Care for You- How do you want to be cared for when you cannot make choices for yourself?
Instructions for Others - If you are leaving your final care decisions to someone else, have you provided written instructions and details about how you feel and what you want? Are you comfortable that those designated will view your options the same as you? Is this responsibility understood by them and have you discussed the details lately?
Dignity - What will give you feelings of dignity?
Be Prepared - You don’t know when you will be making your exit, so planning now is essential. A minimum list would include a Family Financial Philosophy, wills, trusts and health directives. An attorney should review your estate documents and you should consider a review every 5 years.
